The mission of SUWAMA is to systematically increase the consciousness of the whole Surinamese society and all Surinamese organizations, so that they handle the environment, energy, water, biodiversity and waste in a sustainable way.

Promote waste separation in Suriname.
Develop and stimulate social responsibility.
Mobilize, educate and unite people to increase and protect the quality of the natural environment (waste, water, energy and our biodiversity),
